Born in Munich, Germany .

Stage with Lucien Clergue in Arles.
Photographic training in Düsseldorf, Germany .
Since 1975 freelance photographer focussing on architectural and industrial photography.

A major goal of my work is to reveal the ethical dimension of production processes.

Since 1980 regular involvement in photographic projects in Brazil. A main goal of my work lies in portrait photography as well as in intercultural and essayistic projects in the field of contemporary art.

My work has been displayed in numerous exhibitions locally and abroad.

My present home-base is Lisbon Portugal.

Since 1985 member of BFF, (Bund Freischaffender Foto-Designer)

I have worked for advertising agencies, Audi., BASF, BMW, Daimler Chrysler, Henkel, P&C, RWE ,
and many others companies.

In 1996 I received the Top Job Award for Technical Photography by Photokina.
